Bingo and Burgers Night!

The Gallatin Gateway School Foundation is supporting a Bingo and Burgers Night this Friday (March 10)!  The event will be held at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center and will begin at 5:30.  There will be adult beverages, pop, water, burgers and chips available for purchase.  There will be 12 different games of Bingo played and there are several great prizes, so come on out and support our school foundation.  You must be 21 or older to attend.  See you there!

Coffee for Classrooms

Do you like to drink coffee?  Are you interested in helping fundraise for the school?  If you answered yes to both questions, you are gonna love this month's opportunity to help out GGS.  Gallatin Gateway School was selected by the Coffee for Classrooms program to be the March school of the month.  10 cents from every cup of coffee sold at both Co-op locations during the month of March will go directly to the school.  So don't hesitate to head to the Co-op for your morning cup of joe!

Missoula Children's Theater Success!

Congratulations to the cast of the Missoula Children's Theater production of "The Frog Prince"!  Thirty-two GGS students participated in this year's play and everyone did an amazing job!  Way to go Gators!

Book Fair Next Week

As you can see, we have been very busy with some awesome activities at GGS.  Next week will be our annual Book Fair.  This is a great opportunity to pick up some books and support our school library.  See you at the Book Fair!

Community Supper and High School Expansion Meeting February 22

Just a reminder that the GGS staff are hosting a taco bar for tomorrow night's community supper.  Be sure to come out and visit with the staff and stick around to hear Dr. Rob Watson and representatives from Bozeman School District #7 share information on the high school expansion process.  I am looking forward to seeing you there!

Ski Day

I know this is a bit late, but we had a wonderful Ski Day on February 6.  Students in grades 3 through 8 traveled to Big Sky for a day of skiing and winter fun!  Thank you to Scott and Carey Foster of Lone Mountain Sports, PIE, and Eagle Mount for their support in making that day a reality!  We are so very fortunate to live in such a generous community.

Icedogs Visit GGS!

On February 13, we were very fortunate to have several players from the Bozeman Icedogs visit the students at GGS.  The players took the time to visit classrooms, go to recess, and eat lunch with our Gators.  Thank you so much to the Icedogs for making our day a little brighter!

Missoula Children's Theater at GGS Next Week!

I am so excited for next week's Missoula Children's Theater visit to Gallatin Gateway School.  This is an opportunity for any student to participate in the production of The Frog Prince.  Practice will occur after school next week and the performances will be on Saturday, March at 3:00 and 5:30.  All practices and performances will occur at the Community Center.  I look forward to seeing our students perform this wonderful play!
