High School Expansion Information

During our November School Board Meeting, Bozeman School District #7 Superintendent Dr. Rob Watson, BSD7 Trustee Sandra Wilson, and BSD7 Trustee Douglas Fischer discuss the process for the new high school.  Don't worry if you weren't able to make it, there is plenty of information on the future school on the Bozeman Public School website.  There will also be a public meeting in the Bozeman High School South Cafeteria on December 8 at 6 and 7 pm.  This is a very exciting project and I appreciate the time Dr. Watson, Ms. Wilson, and Mr. Fisher spent with us to keep us informed.

Science Olympiad

On November 22, several of our middle school students participated in the annual Science Olympiad.  The event was held on the MSU campus and it was great to watch our students showcase their scientific ability.  Our Gators worked very hard on their projects and it was so great to hear their feedback!  The final results were:
Ecology - 31
Invasive Species - 35
Reach for the Stars - 21
Meteorology - 28
Optics - 33
Wind Power - 21
Crime Busters - 7

Blessing Bags

The first grade class will be accepting donations to create Blessing Bags for our homeless Veterans. Last year was our first year of doing this community service project and we were able to send out over fifty bags! This year we would love to double that!

Besides accepting monetary donations, students will be collecting personal hygiene items, feminine personal hygiene items, socks, gloves/mittens, winter hats, quarters, gallon or lager zip-up plastic bags, hand/foot/body warmers, toothbrushes, etc.

Donations can be sent to school with your child or feel free to stop by the school office with your items. Thank you, in advance, for your donation. Please see the list below for some great ideas for donation items! Blessing Bag donations will be accepted through December 2.
